The combined choirs of Cor Llanwnog and The Wesley Singers under the baton of Stella Gratrix have had a busy time this year and a packed schedule for Christmas too.
New repertoire has been learnt, from Early Music to Bohemian Rhapsody which was premiered at a fundraising concert in Llandrindod Wells for The Bracken Trust.
Last month, the choir entered Trefeglwys Eisteddfod, giving a creditable performance of items in Welsh and English and coming away with the Choir Trophy.

The choir has been asked to sing at five venues in the area this Christmas and are busy preparing a programme that is entitled ‘Centuries of Christmas Music’. A Carol from each century from the 1200s to the 2000s, often with a rich folk style.
As well as singing at our regular venues of Maes y Wennol and The Friendship Club in Llanidloes, the choirs will perform at a concert in Clatter Community Centre on Friday, December 15.
In Llanidloes the choirs are at The Hanging Gardens on Saturday, December 9, at 7pm and at Trinity Church, Short Bridge Street on Tuesday, December 19, at 7pm.
