A NUMBER of changes have been announced to the Bangor to Aberystwyth bus service that passes though Machynlleth.
New timetables for the Traws Cymru T2 and T3 bus services have been announced as part of a series of changes to both services aimed at improving connections across the TrawsCymru network to meet passenger needs.
The new timetables came into effect in November, along with revised fares and additional, more frequent bus services on the T2 route between Bangor and Aberystwyth.

According to Traws Cymru, the T2 service will be integrated with the X28, which is soon to be rebranded as the T28 to offer an hourly service between Aberystwyth and Machynlleth, which Traws Cymru say will offer better value fares and give customers more options to travel.
Machynlleth based coach company Lloyds Coaches added that they will be revising the timetable for students to offer a direct coach from Machynlleth to Aberystwyth schools and colleges.
They said: “Following feedback regarding transferring students at Talybont we have revised the timetable to offer a direct coach from the Wynnstay Hotel at Machynlleth to Penglais, Coleg Ceredigion and Penweddig.
“The coach will only stop at the points shown on the timetable due to limited capacity.”
