Welshpool Town hall was treated to a night of 1960s themed rock and roll as The Jerseys returned to the venue for the second year in a row.

On October 27, audiences at the Town Hall were delighted and entertained by the Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons tribute group, who performed to a sold out crowd at the venue.

The group delivered renditions of hits such as ‘Sherry’, ‘Walk Like A Man’, ‘My Eyes Adored You’, ‘Grease’, Rag Doll’, ‘Stay’, ‘Lets Hang On’, ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ and ‘Oh What a Night’.

A spokesperson for the group said: “We had a great night at Welshpool and are very much looking forward to being back there next year.

“The venue was such a gorgeous room to perform in. Thank you for having us, you guys rocked.”

The singers were be joined by a four-piece band of renowned musicians for the concert, providing a live accompaniment for their versions of classic hits.

Welshpool Town Clerk Anne Wilson said: “The atmosphere was electric and the performance was absolutely wonderful.

“I think it’s very safe to say that everyone there had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We have loved hosting the group for a second time and would be more than happy to welcome them back again next year.”

The group are performing at other venues across Powys to round at the year, including at Llandrindod Wells and Machynlleth.
