One person was injured following a two-vehicle crash between Churchstoke and Sarn on Tuesday evening (October 31).
Emergency services, including police, ambulance and fire crews, rushed to the scene on the A489 near The Blue Bell Hotel, Brompton.
Firefighters from Montgomery, Bishop's Castle and Wellington were sent to help after receiving a report at 5.40pm that people were trapped inside their vehicles.
Montgomery Fire Station later posted on social media to say that the occupants of the vehicles were out when their crew arrived at the scene.
"First aid given by crews until arrival of the ambulance and vehicles made safe," the Powys border town fire station tweeted.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service also confirmed that on arrival their firefighters found nobody trapped but they did carry out first aid to one injured person.
According to the traffic information system Inrix, the A489 was partially blocked in both directions with slow traffic due to the collision.
