THERE is a fine line between nostalgia and history.
Many of the events of the 20th Century are now passing from the former to the latter.
This means it is even more important to listen to the stories of our elders who have witnessed so much in their own lifetimes.
With this in mind the County Times has gone through its archive to share some special pictures of the past for all to enjoy.
The pictures are familiar but also show a different world and sadly one which would be ravaged by two wars.
