Dozens vintage tractors from across Montgomeryshire embarked on a 35 mile tour as part of Guilsfield Show’s annual tractor run.

On Sunday, September 17, tractors converged on Maesglyn farm, Cyfronydd for the Guilsfield Show annual tractor run, with participants coming from all over Montgomeryshire and as far as south Shropshire to take part.

The chairman of Guilsfield Show Committee, Guy Ennever, thanked the Evans family while welcoming the participants and helpers.

The tractors toured the communities Maes Mawr, Cyfronydd, Llanfair Caereinion, Pontrobert, Meiford, Cloddiau, Groespluan working their way around to Guilsfield taking.

Upon returning to Guilsfield, the drivers were met with a meal at the Oak Inn, as well as a raffle and refreshments.

Proceeds from the run will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support and the Oswestry Orthopaedic Hospital at Gobowen, two charities chosen by the show committee.

The donation from the tractor run will be presented to the respective charities at a later date.
