A Powys man has appeared in court charged with escaping from custody at Welshpool Police Station.
Jamie Whittall is also accused of driving dangerously and unfit through drink in Welshpool on February 18 this year.
The 31-year-old gave no pleas but only confirmed his name, date of birth and address at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (September 12).
The magistrates sent the case to be heard before a judge at Mold Crown Court.
Whittall, of Criggion Lane, Trewern, was granted unconditional bail until his next hearing before Mold Crown Court on October 13.
