CARNO Show raised £5,500 for the "exceptional" chemotherapy ward at Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth to show its appreciation for helping residents in the rural village community get the best treatment possible.

Almost 200 people enjoyed an afternoon of socialising, light entertainment, and a promise auction, during the charity Sunday lunch held following the 2022 show.

Ceri Jones and Caroline Jones, who helped organise the event, paid a visit to the chemotherapy ward to present a cheque to Dr Elin Jones who has been spearheading a new cancer unit.
