A Jeep Wrangler Rubicon driver charged with driving through a Powys village while under the influence of cannabis will face trial in October.
Edward Cezar Paun, aged 36, from Woodgreen, London, was stopped in his black car by police on the A489 in Churchstoke on January 29.
It is alleged that he was having three micrograms of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol, a metabolite of cannabis, in his blood when the legal limit is two micrograms.
He pleaded not guilty to driving the Jeep with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit when he appeared in the dock at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, July 18.
Magistrates fixed the trial for October 2 in Welshpool with Paun released on unconditional bail.
