A major road through Powys has been closed as a result of a collision.
At approximately 5pm on Monday, July 17, Dyfed Powys Police confirmed that a stretch of the A470 in Powys has been closed.
Police stated that the A470 between Llanidloes roundabout and Llandinam is currently closed due to a collision.
Traffic maps online show that the area affected is near Dolwen.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the area and find an alternative route.
There is currently no confirmation on when the road is likely to re-open.
