The A44 between Powys and Aberystwyth has reopened after being closed due to a crash.
Dyfed-Powys Police closed the road, which is the main route between Llanidloes and Aberystwyth, after an accident near Dollwen in Ceredigion at about 12.45pm on Monday (May 22).
In a statement on social media Dyfed-Powys Police advised that people travelling on the route should "avoid the area if possible".
The disruption lasted most of the afternoon before the road reopened just before 4.pm.
Traffic on the road was disrupted with tailbacks in both directions near the crash with traffic moving slowly.
It is unclear at this time whether anyone was hurt in the collision.
