Drivers travelling from Powys to Aberystwyth may have to find an alternative route after an accident on the A44.
The collision took place near the Glanyrafon industrial estate and the road has been closed in both directions.
This is causing a traffic jams in the area and disruption to nearby roads and it is being advised to avoid the area.
Emergency services were called to the site although it is unclear the condition of those involved.
