SO Powys’ biggest town is no longer able to host a carnival.
It is most disappointing and while the organising committee does not deserve criticism we must also ask why this group has not been more pro-active in letting the community know just how bad the situation had become.

Now the question is how much rates will be reduced for high street businesses whose rates include payment for a specific number of events to be held in the town each year.
