“We have a lot of youngsters coming through the club with our junior system and feel that now is the right time to hopefully push the club to the next level.”

Radnor Valley Football Club hope to upgrade their new home at the Bypass to meet criteria.

The club only moved to the pitch a year ago and have wasted little time in putting in the necessary work to bring the facilities up to code.

Manager Elliot Morris said: “We need a stand put in place with 50 seats for the first season and then 50 seats the following season if we were to stay in the league.

“We also need to have changing facilities at the pitch which works will be commencing soon.

Morris said the club’s plans rested on their grant application being successful with all at the Bypass hopeful such support would be forthcoming.

“We have applied for a grant,” said Morris. “Without the grants it will be tough but we feel tier three is where we belong and we will get there hopefully.”
