LLANIDLOES Town have strengthened their squad with the capture of two new signings.
The Daffodils have brought defender Drew Cook from Ardal North East League side Llanfair United while forward Jack Orbell joins from fellow JD Cymru North side Chirk AAA.
Llanidloes are battling to consolidate in the second tier but injuries have undermined their efforts to get points on the board.
Manager Chris Davies said: “We’re really happy to get both Jack and Drew over the line so early in the window.
“They’re both players we spoke to in the summer so we’re delighted they’ve agreed to join us now.
“It’s been no secret that we’ve needed to strengthen our squad with the injuries we’ve had in that first part of the season. The last two months have been a struggle so to add two lads with their qualities will give us a real boost.”
Jack Orbell has signed for Llanidloes Town from Chirk AAA.
Davies also confirmed the club was in talks with a third target and hoped to complete the deal before the weekend.
He said: “We’re expecting another to be signed imminently and hopefully all will be available for the weekend and make a impact for us in the second half of the season.”
Meanwhile struggling Penrhyncoch forward Steff Gittins has departed Cae Baker for JD Cymru North rivals Gresford Athletic.
