LLANIDLOES Town face a daunting challenge when they travel to unbeaten JD Cymru North leaders Colwyn Bay on Saturday.
The Daffodils have suffered a slump in form but manager Chris Davies insisted he had faith his players would rise to the challenge on the north Wales coast.
Davies said: “Obviously we’re not in the best run of form at the moment and the results haven’t been what we’d hoped for and we now face a trip to the undefeated league leaders.
“We know how hard it will be to get a result but we had a fair battle with them at home where we unfortunately lost a 2-0 lead.
“So we’ll approach the game with confidence and see if what we can get from it.”
Penrhyncoch bid to maintain their own revival at Buckley Town on Saturday with the Roosters welcoming back Dan Owen from illness and Lewis James from suspension.
Manager Gari Lewis praised opposite number Dan Moore ahead of the trip to Globeway.
“Dan Moore does a brilliant job at Buckley with standards off and on the pitch continuing to improve,” said Lewis.
“It’s a tough challenge for us but we go with a lot more confidence after showing some good form of late and a new formation has worked out well for us at the moment.”
Guilsfield will kick off the weekend action at home to Gresford Athletic on Friday night.
