A WALES football fan from Powys is determined to make the most of his time in Qatar following the national team.

Carl Lewis of Caersws is one of several fans from Powys to make the pilgrimage to Doha and cheer on Wales at World Cup 2022.

While Wales are likely to bow out in the group stages following their deserved 2-0 defeat at the hands of Iran on Friday, Carl has remained upbeat ahead of the final group B clash against England.

Wales will need to win and hope Iran and USA draw to have any hopes of salvaging their World Cup dreams.
