Hafren Dyfrdwy will start the long-awaited work to renew the water main through Montgomery during April.

The substantial project will see pipes replaced along Pool Road, Princes Street and Bishop’s Castle Street which have leaked in recent years.

OTHER NEWS:

Catherine Webb, Hafren Dyfrdwy’s community communications officer, said: “The likelihood of more problems occurring increases as the years pass so we’re going to be replacing the old pipes along these roads.

“This means that there will be some short-term inconvenience – but the advantage of having this work take place will be worth it and secure the network for the future.”
