A MOTORIST has lost his licence after he drove in Builth Wells with illegal tyres.
Abdullah Keeze from Liverpool was stopped while driving a BMW 6 Series on the B4358 in Beulah on March 6, this year.
Police found that the rear offside wheel of the vehicle did not have sufficient tread – legally it should be at least 1.6mm deep.

The 42-year-old, of Shaw Street, was proved guilty via the single justice procedure Llanelli Magistrates' Court on October 10 and was sentenced at the same court on November 18.
Magistrates said the disqualification was obligatory due to his repeat offending and banned him from the roads for six months.
He was also fined £440 and must pay £90 court costs and £44 to the victim services fund.
