Montgomery YFC County Eisteddfod was back with a bang this year.
This was the first Eisteddfod held by the organisation since Covid-19 and saw a full Theatre Llwyn in Llanfyllin and members back, competing in true YFC spirit
The night involved members showcasing their talents throughout the day – with a wide array of different stage performances and endless items of Arts and Crafts on display.

It was aspecial day for member Ruby Evans of Llanfyllin YFC. Ms Evans at just the age of 15 won the prestigious prize of the Literacy Chair – which the organisers described as an “incredible achievement”.
Ruby Evans of Llanfyllin YFC was the winner of the prestigous literary chair.
Dyffryn Tanat were the Overall Winners, with Bro Ddyfi runners up, Dyffryn Banw came in third and Llanfair Caereinion fourth.
A spokesperson for Montgomery YFC congratulated all who took part and wished “all our successful members the very best of luck for when they travel down to Fish Guard on the November 19 to compete at the Wales YFC Eisteddfod.”
