HAVE you ever fancied owning your own Tardis?

Well now you can, after a unique replica of Doctor Who's iconic sci-fi space-and-time machine, crafted with love and affection in Newtown, was put up for sale.

The Tardis is synonymous with the long-running British sci-fi series, Doctor Who which has attracted generations of fans since its inception in 1963.

Ever since William Hartnell first stepped out of the Tardis in 1963 the world has followed the many inceptions of the Timelord which has included Matt Smith, David Tennant and Peter Capaldi.

More recently the BBC have handed the role to Jodie Whittaker, who is set to bow out later this year with Ncuti Gatwa the face of the latest regeneration.

Fan and Tardis creator Geoffrey Parsons from Newtown has now put his own version of the bigger-on-the-inside vessel up for sale for £1,500.

He said: "I have always been a fan and always wanted a Tardis so I built one. Now I have had it for two years and want to sell it.

"It's home made and not an exact replica but close enough."
