KERRY Football Club has rallied around one of their supporters as he undergoes surgery.
Popular supporter Chris Chaney is to undergo surgery after the discovery of a meningioma tumour on his brain which requires delicate surgery to remove.
This has materialised 21 years after Chris suffered from a germ cell tumour on the brain.

A club spokesman said: "Chris has been ever present for Kerry over the last decade. Coming to home and away games helping out which ever way he can. Most notably running the line when needed and helping the players out with equipment.
"Heβs been clubman of the year on multiple occasions and just an all round stalwart for the Lambs. The whole village is wishing him well and we hope the whole of the mid Wales football family are too."
