Knighton Town were among the goals in an 8-0 drubbing of Penybont United at Bryn-Y-Castell in the MMP Central Wales League South on Saturday.

Dan Farmer, Connor O'Connell and Kieran Dovey each netted doubles while Jack Bright and an own goal completed the rout.

Henry Shaw starred with a hat-trick as Presteigne St Andrews edged a 4-3 win at home to Talgarth Town in the MMP Central Wales League South on Friday night.

Jordan McQueen completed the scoring for the Saints while the Royals remained in contention with goals from Jayden Stanfield and a Rhodri Boosey double.

Meanwhile Llanilar thumped Aberaeron 9-1 on Saturday with Ryan Hopkins and James Stuart netting hat-tricks.

Euros Lloyd, Robert Preiser and Matthew Thomas goals completed the rout while Ianto Evans netted a consolation for the hosts.

Elsewhere Gethin Jones struck twice as Tregaron Turfs eased to a 4-1 win at Machynlleth while Rhun Garner and Dylan Davies goals cancelled out a reply from Luke Borrelli.

Meanwhile Bow Street Reserves returned from Llanfair United Reserves 2-0 winners in the FAW Central Reserve League on Friday night.

Goals from Rhys Hughes and Owen Roberts-Young sealed the spoils for the visiting Magpies.

Elsewhere honours ended even as Caersws Reserves snatched a last gasp leveller in a 3-3 home draw with Dolgellau AA Reserves.

Darrell Johns netted twice while Jamie Jones also netted for the visitors with Sam Williams and James Coleman on target for the villagers before Tomos Evans came off the bench to rescue a point late on.

Meanwhile Llanidloes Town Reserves edged a 3-2 win at home to Penrhyncoch Reserves on Saturday.

Gregg Brown led the Daffodils to glory with two goals while Mason Jones completed the scoring with the Roosters remaining in contention with two goals from Harry Jones.
