Rhydian Davies broke the deadlock with an early penalty before Ifan Burrell completed a double and Dafydd Carruthers settled the outcome before the hour.

Elsewhere Llanrhaeadr suffered an opening day to forget in a 4-0 defeat at home to Llanuwchllyn with Joe Williams netting twice and Mike Pritchard and Owain Ap Gareth sealing three points for the visitors.
Rhayader Town also crashed to a heavy opening day defeat with Jordan Johnson starring with a hat-trick as Cefn Albion stormed to a 5-0 win at the Weirglodd with Kien Morris and Ryan Kershaw goals settling the outcome.

Meanwhile Brecon Corries began life in the Ardal South East League with a 2-0 defeat at Undy Athletic this afternoon.
The match was goalless until the hour when Gareth Cullimore broke the deadlock before Daniel Jarman settled the outcome in injury time.
