A previous Drag Queen Story Hour event
A “Drag Queen Story Hour” event is coming to three libraries in Powys , Newtown, Hay and Brecon on 8th August. The Drag Queen will be reading stories to 3 - 11 year olds.
Why do young children need to be exposed to adult performers?
This ‘event’ is totally inappropriate for young children as they are being exposed to the LGBTQ+ agenda and being read stories about gender identity.

Who consulted with our local communities about whether they wanted this in their local libraries? Who approved our public money to fund these inappropriate events ?
Parents should be asking these questions of their local councillors and the Head of Powys libraries.
Let our children be children.
