An annual celebration of agriculture, livestock and handicraft is returning to Berriew later this month.
Berriew & District Horticultural and Agricultural Show will hold its 2022 event on August 27.
The event is a one day showcase of local livestock, produce, arts, craft, food and drink.
The show, now in its eight decade, attracts visitors and participants from across Powys.
Each year the show’s organisers seek to make it an integral part of village life, and this year the committee invited Gill Owen to be president for the 2022 show.

She said: “I am delighted to be asked and have had long associations with the Show over many years.
“The show has something for everyone. It’s an excellent community event which showcases all that is good in our district.
“There’s always so much to do, and provides superb value for money for those looking for a great family day out.
“The committee showed great courage and foresight last year in staging the show, the only one in the area to go ahead.
“That bravery was rewarded with an outstandingly successful day. Let’s hope for a repeat performance this year.”
Some changes have been made for the 2022 event, such as a larger show field and a new layout.
The 2022 Berriew Show is set to include a five-ring horse show with 75 classes, 100 trade stalls, 50 craft stalls, as well as 60 vintage road and agricultural vehicles.
Tickets are now on sale at the Berriew Show’s website.
