A MOTORIST will be sentenced in the crown court after he admitted driving a campervan dangerously in Powys.
Ben Stiles, 27, was charged with the offence having been stopped by police in Rhayader on Saturday, June 11. Stiles was driving a Renault Master Campervan on the A470. He pleaded guilty when he appeared at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates' Court on Monday, June 27.
Stiles, of Laburnum Drive, New Inn, Pontypool, was also found to be driving on the day without insurance or a driving licence. He admitted two further charges in relation to this.
Stiles saw his case committed to Merthyr Crown Court, where he is due to be sentenced on July 11. He was granted unconditional bail and given an interim disqualification from driving.
An offence of failing to stop when required to do so by a constable in uniform was withdrawn by magistrates.
