RADNOR YFC held their 74th annual rally on Saturday, June 11, for the first time in two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The popular event was held this year at Cwmfeardy Farm, in Abbeycwmhir. Members from Knighton YFC competed against 13 other clubs in various competitions, with chairman Sam Beavan hoping to gain a top half result.

Not only did they manage that, they were very nearly crowned overall champions, but fell at the final hurdle. Knighton managed to stay at the top of the leaderboard all day, but eventually fell just seven points behind Radnor Valley YFC, with Knighton finishing runners-up as Radnor Valley took the shield home.

The Knigton club were, however, ecstatic about this result with it being their first top three placing in over 20 years.

So much hard work went into this year’s rally and many rallies before from past present and future members. Knighton would like to thank everyone who has helped the club in any way.
