A popular Broad Street shop in Welshpool has confirmed that is closing.
The Savers store will shut for good and hold its last day on Saturday, June 11.
A spokesperson for the health and beauty store told customers that is was "sorry for any inconvenience".
Savers said it is "unable to confirm why this store is closing".
Staff in Welshpool told the County Times that consultation talks would begin shortly and that more details were to follow.
Broad Street has seen a number of stores close such as the HSBC branch and the former Hope House charity shop remaining empty for at least two years. Next door to Savers is the Janeva ladies clothes shop whose owner plans to close this business this year.
