IT WAS a case of double trouble for one Powys motorist earlier this month when they were stopped by police – they tested positive for cannabis and their MOT test certificate had expired.
The driver was stopped on the A470 near Brecon on Friday, May 6.
“Vehicle stopped on A470 near Brecon. MOT test expired in February and driver drug swiped with a positive indication for cannabis,” said Dyfed Powys Police’s Roads Policing Unit.
“Arrested and currently in custody for blood sample to be obtained.”
The driver is now likely to face a court appearance in the near future.
