A WOMAN was handed six penalty points after she sped through a Powys border village.
Anwen Jones, of Chirk in North Wales, was clocked driving a Ford EcoSport at 50mph on the B4393 at Coedway, which is in a 30mph zone.
The offence took place on shortly before 11am on March 12, this year.
At Llanelli Magistrates' Court on April 25, she was found guilty.
The 62-year-old, of Plas Y Waun, Chapel Lane in Chirk, was given six penalty points by magistrates.
She was also fined £440 and must pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £90, totalling £574.
