Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed that a crash on a Powys road has resulted in the death of one person.
Police received reports of an incident involving a single vehicle on the B4568 Aberhafesp to Newtown road.
The collision took place at approximately 4.50am on Monday, May 2.

Police were called out to the scene immediately, as well as other emergency services, where a blue Ford Fiesta was found on its roof.
The one occupant of the car was declared deceased at the scene.
Next of kin have been informed and are being supported, but no further information will be released until further notice.
The collision caused Dyfed-Powys Police to close the road for several hours, before it was reopened at 2pm.
The police have made an appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone with information that could help officers with the investigation to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police.
