NFU Cymru members in Brecon and Radnor are invited to a county meeting to discuss future farm support in Wales.
At the meeting, which will be held at the Tanners Arms, Defynnog, near Brecon, on Monday, May 9 at 7.30pm, members will hear from NFU Cymru national environment and land use adviser Rachel Lewis-Davies, who will talk about the union’s policy priorities for the Welsh Government’s Agriculture (Wales) Bill and the Sustainable Farming Scheme.
NFU Cymru Brecon and Radnor county chair Sharon Hammond said: “I’d like to thank Rachel for taking the time out of her very busy schedule to come to talk to us about future agricultural support.
“This is a matter that will shape generations of farmers for years to come and so I do hope you will join us and find out more about this very important topic.”
Anyone wishing to attend the meeting needs to register beforehand by contacting the NFU Cymru office on 01982 554200.
