RHAYADER First Responders were recognised for their superb work in the local community last weekend.
The St John Ambulance Cymru Rhayader awards ceremony was held on Saturday, April 23, at the station, located on Dark Lane, Rhayader.
“Today was a very special day for our group of responders,” said Rhayader First Responders on its Facebook page.
“We were joined by some very important representatives from St John Ambulance Cymru, the Welsh Ambulance Service, the Lord Lieutenant, the Mayor of Rhayader and local MP’s. The responders were presented with awards to recognise their contributions to the local community.
“We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and we endeavour to continue our hard work to provide 999 response to Rhayader and the surrounding areas.”
