A contemporary art exhibition will be held in Llanidloes this May Bank Holiday weekend.

More than 60 artworks from nine artists at different stages of their careers will be displayed for free in The Hanging Gardens in Bethel Street.

The Bethel Street Print Fair brings together the work of artists from across Wales who specialise in printmaking techniques, from lithography to linocut.

It will be held from 10am to 5pm on Sunday, May 1, and Monday, May 2.

Robert Macdonald, one of the exhibiting artists, will give a talk at 4pm on Sunday about his art practise which has spanned over five decades.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to tour the screen printing studio of Leanne Cordingley-Wright, another exhibiting artist and Llanidloes local.

Admission to the exhibition, talk and studio tour is free.
