THREE Powys club players will represent north Wales against their southern counterparts in a play-off to decide which will represent Wales in the UEFA Regions' Cup.
The two sides will battle it out over two legs in May, with the winning region of the play-off going on to represent Cymru in the intermediate round stage of the UEFA competition in October later this year.
The first game will take place at Denbigh Town's Central Park on Sunday, May 8 May while Old Road Welfare Ground, the home of Briton Ferry Llansawel, will host the second leg the following Sunday, with both ties getting under way at 2.30pm.
The curious criteria means only players who have never played top flight football in Wales or been a professional at one of Wales' Anglo pyramid clubs or English clubs are considered.
Chris Cathrall and Jamie Hyne will both represent Guilsfield while Khyam Wyton of Llanrhaeadr has also earned a call up to represent the northern squad.
