People who love wildlife and the outdoors are encouraged to take part in fundraising walk for recovery work supporting Britain’s largest wader - the curlew.

To mark World Curlew Day on Thursday April 21, Curlew Country will give people the opportunity to learn more about these fantastic birds while helping secure their future.

Starting from the Stiperstones, the scenic 13-mile circuit around the Shropshire Hills will take in beautiful scenery and curlew hotspots along the way.

While a shorter family friendly route of four miles will include curlew craft activities as well as the chance to spot a giant curlew.
