After nearly three years away, Machynlleth Scouts finally held a full-scale camping trip.
Following a lengthy hiatus caused by Covid-19, Machynlleth Scouts were able to get under canvas once again with a hammock camping event.
It was the first time Machynlleth Scouts had used hammocks as part of a camping exercise.
The night goes towards the group achieving a list of challenges required to earn their Dragon Award.
The Dragon Award is an award given to scout groups who complete a checklist of unique challenges for camps and expeditions.
The list includes camping with scouts from another country, camping in a large wooded area or forest and camping for seven consecutive nights.
