POWYS and Wales football star Ryan Astley was on the bench as Everton saw off non-league minnows Boreham Wood in the FA Cup last night (Thursday).
The 20-year-old defender was one of several emerging Toffee talents on the bench which also included Isaac Price, Reece Welch and Lewis Dobbin.

While the Llanfair Caereinion star did not see any action the Premier League strugglers booked their place in the sixth round despite a poor performance courtesy of two goals from Salomon Rondon.
Everton will play Crystal Palace in the next FA Cup tie over the weekend of March 19/20.
