A FAMILY run holiday home park has raised money for a medical charity based in and operating throughout Powys.

Neuadd Bridge Caravan Park raised £3,000 for Montgomeryshire Emergency Doctors Scheme.

The money was raised by various events held on the caravan park.

The events were designed to be Covid friendly so as not to breach any government guidelines or endanger anyone attending or participating, especially as it was the raise money for a medical charity still dealing with the consequences of the pandemic.

The events held at Neuadd Bridge included a fun walk around the grounds of the park and a tabletop sale organised by the people within it.

Refreshments for the events were provided by Morrisons, with the park extending a thanks towards the supermarket for the assistance.

Montgomeryshire Emergency Doctors is a charity based in mid Wales that provides immediate medical care either at the scene of an emergency or during transport to a hospital.

The two doctors involved are local practitioners that cover North Powys and into the border areas of Shropshire and Gwynedd.

They work closely with other emergency services to ensure that patients are provided with optimal pre-hospital care and are transported to the most appropriate hospital for definitive treatment.

Roger Neville, from Neuadd Bridge, wished to thank Brenda Bickley and her team of helpers who have now raised over £60,000 for local charities.
