A DOG owner from Welshpool has been handed a notice after multiple incidents of livestock worrying.
The individual was issued with a Community Protection Warning (CPW) by Dyfed Powys Police on Friday (January 14) following several reports to the force.
“Community Protection Warning (CPW) issued to a dog owner in the Welshpool area today after several incidents of livestock worrying,” tweeted Dyfed Powys’ Rural Crime Team.
“Always keep your dog on a lead and under close control near livestock, alternatively avoid public footpaths crossing fields that contain livestock.”
