Radnor Valley ran out 7-2 winners at home to Barmouth United in the third round of the MMP-NL Mid Wales League Cup.

Ceri Roberts fired Barmouth into an early lead but the Goats hit back as Joey Price struck twice and goals from Jake Bufton, Elliot Morris, Geraint Lloyd and a Ryan Williams own goal saw them establish a comfortable interval lead.

Price completed his hat-trick after the break before Gwion Davies netted a late consolation for the visitors.

Brecon Corries also booked their place in the next round with a 3-0 derby win at home to Hay St Marys courtesy of goals from Gareth Aplin, Glyn Hobbs and Dale Evans.

Abermule made light work of Newcastle Emlyn with a Matthew Goodman own goal and Dave Anthony strike giving the villagers an interval lead before Adam Putson and a second from Anthony put the seal on a 4-0 win.

Meanwhile Jamie Owen netted twice as Aberaeron completed a 2-1 win at home to Forden United who remained in contention through Jake O'Donnell.

Rhodri Jones was the match winner as Tregaron Turfs won 1-0 at Tywyn Bryncrug in MMP-NL Mid Wales League West with the hosts ending with 10 men following the dismissal of Kian Cunliffe.

Elsewhere Phil Hughes and Alun Hughes shared the limelight with doubles as Meifod celebrated a 6-1 win over Llanfyllin Town Reserves in the JT Hughes Montgomeryshire League.

Lee Wilde and Robert Evans goals completed the derby victory while the Magpies netted a consolation through William Davies.

Honours ended even at Bryn-Y-Castell as Knighton Town battled to a 1-1 draw at home to Builth Wells Reserves thanks to a Wayne Davies strike to cancel a Bradley Rollinson effort.

Hay St Marys Reserves and Llanandras also shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Conran Webb netting for the Presteigne side before Darren Horrigan levelled for the hosts.

Alun Evans and Ieuan Thomas shared the limelight with two goals each in St Harmon's 4-4 draw at home to Felindre.

Evans was joined on the scoresheet by Oliver Jones with an own goal completing the Swifts' tally while Thomas struck twice with Paul Reynolds and Evan-John Thomas replying for the Millers.

Four Crosses Reserves enjoyed better fortune with a 3-0 win at Llanfair United Reserves in the FAW Central Reserves League sealed thanks to a Robbie Morris double and Max Thomas strike.

Meanwhile Padarn United won a nine goal thriller at Tregaron Turfs Reserves in the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League.

James Graham starred with a treble while Peter Bentham struck twice and Daniel Bentham completed the tally while Glen Stewart netted a hat-trick in reply.

Llanfair United held their nerve to overcome 10 man Dyffryn Banw on penalties to seal their place in the fourth round of the MP Foulkes Montgomeryshire Cup.

A solitary Max McLoughlin strike saw United lead for much of the tie before Gerallt Davies levelled to send the tie into extra-time with the hosts ending with 10 men following the dismissal of Rhodri Davies.

Gerallt Davies spurned the decisive penalty as United celebrated a 5-4 win in the shoot out.
