WELL, the Christmas lights in Builth came down last week, and while it’s always a little depressing as January kicks in, town mayor Gwyn Davies has thanked the volunteers who make it happen.
“Once again, a top job done by everyone on the Christmas lights team,” said Councillor Davies.
“A very early start for all involved, it’s always a pleasure to see the huge amount of effort and care that goes into the best Christmas lights display around, which is even more remarkable considering some of these gents have been doing this for 40 plus years now.
“Our community owes a huge debt of gratitude to all the volunteers that make Builth what it is.”
