NEWTOWN have completed the signing of the season with the capture of defender Ryan Sears.
The 23-year-old has signed an 18-month contract with his hometown club after departing English National League side Grimsby Town.
Sears came through the youth academy at Shrewsbury Town, playing seven times for the club in EFL League One.

He also spent time on loan with Newtown where he was named Players' Player of the Season in 2018 as well as two separate spells with AFC Telford United before signing for Grimsby Town in June 2021.
However, Sears has now completed his homecoming and will provide the Robins with a massive boost ahead of the second half of the season as Chris Hughes bids to steer his side into Europe for a second consecutive season.
