Police have urged motorists to take care and be cautious of black ice on the roads.
Dyfed-Powys Police highlighted one route in mid Powys - the B4355 between Norton and Presteigne - as one road of concern.
"Please take care when driving due to black ice on the road," the force tweeted on Sunday morning (January 9).
Motorists have also reported black ice near Welshpool on the A490 between Guilsfield and Pentre'r Beirdd, and the A483 between Dolfor and Llanbadarn Fynydd.
Be aware of black ice
It isn't always visible and so can be an even greater hazard for both motorists and pedestrians.
Black ice may be formed when rain or drizzle fall on a road surface which is at a temperature below zero
