RHAYADER Town have bolstered ahead of the second half of the season with three new signings.

The Radnorshire club is currently in a relegation dogfight in the Ardal South East following a testing start to their debut campaign at the new third tier.

The Red Kites have raided Knighton Town to tempt three former players back to the Weirglodd after their Radnorshire rivals resigned from the MMP-NL Mid Wales League East last month.

Forward Taylor Wozencraft heads the cast and will be looking to mark his return from injury by helping the Kites climb the table.

Also arriving at the Weirglodd are Jack Francis and Jack Bright with both having past experience with the club.

Goalkeeper Kham Steventon completes the cast of new arrivals with the ex-Newtown player joining from JD Cymru South side Taffs Well.

Manager Dai Davies said: "We are really buzzing about bringing in four high class quality players so early in the transfer window shows which shows we have a plan and want to keep pushing."

Steventon echoed the sentiments and looked forward to his career with the Weirglodd club.

He said: "I am buzzing to have signed for Rhayader Town, a local club that has all the credentials for a club on the up. I can’t wait for the next challenge and most importantly playing again."
