LLANSANTFFRAID celebrated a 3-1 win at Churchstoke in the MMP-NL Mid Wales League East.

The sides were inseparable at the break after Greg Pryce's 20th minute strike for the visitors cancelled out an early opener from Jake Harris.

Dale Evans spurned a penalty for the Saints before goals from Aled Jones and Sam Evans ensured the points for the Treflan side.

Aled Davies was the hero with both goals as Montgomery Town claimed the spoils in a 2-1 win at home to Llanfyllin Town.

Gruff Evans failed to find the target from the penalty spot for Llanfyllin before atoning to reduce the arrears with nine minutes remaining but the Canaries held firm for three points.

Meanwhile Matt Croose's last gasp leveller earned Radnor Valley a point in a 3-3 draw at home to Bishop's Castle.

Jack Mellor fired Castle into an early lead with Sam Jones doubling their tally before Joey Price reduced the arrears from the penalty spot before the break.

Mellor restored Castle's cushion in the second-half before Croose gave the Goats hope with nine minutes remaining and completed his side's comeback with his second at the death.

Elsewhere a fourth minute penalty from Sam Hoyle proved the difference as Knighton Town edged a 1-0 win at Felindre in the Watson Financial Mid Wales League South.

A Craig Morris hat-trick inspired Newcastle to a 4-1 win at Hay St Marys Reserves with Carl Price completing the scoring after Harry Ratcliffe's sixth minute strike had given the hosts an early lead.
