LLANIDLOES Town prevailed in a seven goal thriller to celebrate a 4-3 win at home to Conwy Borough in JD Cymru North.

All the goals came in an incident packed second-half with Luke Boundford breaking the deadlock for the hosts after 51 minutes only for Corrig McGoningle to level five minutes later.

Dafydd Carruthers soon restored the home side's advantage as Llanidloes looked to see out the game.

Instead Borough levelled through Conor Davies after 72 minutes only for Llanidloes to restore the lead four minutes later through Andy Evans before Boundford extended their advantage with 10 minutes remaining.

Borough soon reduced the arrears with McGoningle completing his double but Llanidloes held firm to celebrate a thrilling win.

Meanwhile Penrhyncoch overcame Llangefni Town with a 2-1 win at Cae Baker following a frantic finale.

A Gari Owen own goal saw Penrhyn lead with seven minutes remaining and seconds later the Anglesey side were reduced to 10 men with Kieran Edwards sent off and Geoff Kellaway doubled the lead from the penalty spot.

Erhan Hyusmen reduced the arrears for the islanders in injury-time but it was too late to prevent the Roosters toasting three crucial points.

Elsewhere a solitary strike from Aron Hughes-Jones after 23 minutes was enough to consign Llanrhaeadr to a 1-0 defeat at Llandudno while Guilsfield maintained their unbeaten record with a 1-1 draw at Holyhead Hotspur.

Iwan Matthews' strike on the stroke of half-time gave the villagers the lead only for Dean Garmey to level 10 minutes into the second-half as honours ended even at the New Stadium.
