A LUXURY adult-only glamping site popular with celebrities has been named the best glamping site in Wales.

Hush Hush Glamping – situated beneath the rolling hills of the Radnor Forest near Kinnerton, Presteigne – won ‘Best Glamping Site in Wales’ earlier this month in the Glamping Awards 2021, organised by Glampitect, the UK’s only specialist glamping site designer.

Hush Hush Glamping offers two luxury glamping pods just outside Kinnerton which are owned by Alice Pond and Kevin Jones.

Set within a 90-acre family farm, celebrity-approved Hush Hush Glamping has attracted some famous faces to rural Radnorshire, including the Only Way is Essex star Pete Wicks who stayed in Powys earlier this year.

“Glampitec ran their official awards this year and we were delighted to discover we won the award for best glamping site in Wales – what an accolade to have,” said Hush Hush Glamping in a post on their Facebook page.

“Glampitect's choice award was given to the Secret Garden Glamping and we were over the moon to hear we were a runner-up for this.

“Such a huge well done to all the winners. We will definitely be celebrating all through 2022 that Hush Hush Glamping has been awarded the title of best glamping site in Wales.”

There were 15 awards on offer in total, with another Welsh firm taking the impressive title of ‘Best Glamping Site in the UK’. That accolade went to Llanfair Hall, based in the famous Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch on Anglesey.

The English winners were Preston’s Horse Park Hideaway, Daviot Luxury Pods in Inverness won the Scottish title while Ness Wood Glamping in Londonderry were crowned Northern Ireland winners.

Nestled beneath the ancient Radnor Forest, Hush Hush Glamping consists of two remote, expertly crafted wooden pods sleeping two or four adults – Hare's Form and Huacaya’s Cush.

They are naturally luxurious pods set on lush, wildlife-steeped Welsh farmland, with jaw-dropping views of the Radnor Valley.

Elevated at 1,300 feet above sea level, you can savour glorious views of the Radnor Valley and the Black Mountains, while your 90-acre farmland surroundings are shared with friendly neighbours that include alpacas, sheep, red kites and deer.
