LLANIDLOES Town face a crunch festive period as the club bid to pull away from the JD Cymru North danger zone.

Conwy Borough visit Victoria Avenue on Saturday with manager Chris Davies calling on supporters to turn out.

Manager Chris Davies backed his players to get the points on the board, saying: “We’ve got a crucial festive period coming up with Conwy at home and then two derbies away at Penrhyncoch and Llanrhaeadr.

“I’m confident that if we keep playing like we have been then we’ll be able to add some points to our tally."

Davies insisted his squad's focus remained on the weekend clash and had not looked ahead to the back to back festive derbies.

However the Daffodils will start both derbies as favourites with Penrhyncoch and Llanrhaeadr currently languishing in the league basement.

Davies said: “Although it’s an important few games our sole focus is on Saturday’s game and we’re hoping for three points in front of big home crowd.”

Elsewhere Guilsfield embark on their second trek to the far reaches of Anglesey in a week with the unbeaten villagers making the long trip to Holyhead Hotspur.

Penrhyncoch entertain lowly Llangefni Town in a must win game at Cae Baker as the Roosters bid to pull clear of the league relegation zone.

Llanrhaeadr make the trip to Llandudno with Marc Griffiths' side aiming to complete an upset and galvanise their own survival bid following a torrid first half to the campaign.
